For me, the highlight of John Lewis’ current sales promotion has to be the John Lewis Seasons Dining Furniture.
Designed by Paul Stott, the collection is described as “contemporary retro”, taking the best from both worlds. There is a dining table with four chairs set, sideboard, coffee and side tables, and a TV unit, all made from a combination of oak solids and veneers with an oiled oak finish. The range is a Special Buy, meaning it has been brought in especially for the promotion rather than being a discount on an existing product, so you probably won’t have seen it before and stock is limited.
