It is a design we have featured before, as well as being one of the stars of the must-have L'Utopie Du Tout Plastique book. But for once, there's a Schneider SSS Stereo portable record player on a 'buy it now' of under £100 – although there are perhaps one or two reasons for that.
The design is a minor classic of the '70s space age and a great piece of design. The player and speakers all pack up into a single case, but open out to offer stereo sound on the go, spinning both LPs and singles.
The description on the item is minimal – there are a few pictures, with condition described as both 'good' and 'working'. But it's perhaps worth looking closely at those images. It certainly doesn't look mint, although it does look complete.
It's your call and of course, your money. If you want to take a chance, £99 is the buy it now price.
