It's a design that has featured before in our easy spot but I'm flagging up this Philips 303 'UFO' portable record player once more because this example is in such great condition.
It's the same classic, Patrice Dupont design though, an icon of the '70s and a player that was featured in the L'Utopie Du Tout Plastique 1960 – 1973 book, the 'bible' of plastic space age design. You can see why it was featured there simply by looking at the images.
That design offers up a battery or mains player, which players 33, 45 and 78rpm records, with the speaker built into that see-through old and the whole thing closing up into a circular 'case' complete with white carry handle.
Condition is described as working as well as being in 'very good condition', with just slight scratches caused by storage. It's on a 'buy it now' for £349, although the seller is also taking offers, if you want to chance your arm.
