Not sure how many of you are planning a move to Belgium, but if you are, this 1970s architect-designed five bedroom house in Hertsberge, West Flanders, Belgium is a rather cool place to live.
Details are limited and us having to use a translation tool to work out what is there doesn't help either. But we do know this was built in the mid-1970s, almost certainly an individual build. I can't imagine an estate full of these. Updating has taken place over the years, but much of what is here looks original to me too.
Get inside, and you'll be wow'd by large windows and some great split-level accommodation, which includes five bedrooms, a 'recreation' space and bar in the basement, a living room, a dining room with ‘panoramic’ views of the garden, a fully-fitted kitchen, fitted bathroom, separate toilet and a storage/laundry room. Outside, there are landscaped gardens, a swimming pool and a garage.
No news on a price sadly, but mainland Europe is usually considerably cheaper for housing than the UK, so give the agent a shout. There's an open day in a couple of weeks too, if you fancy a nosey around.
