It might not look typical of the era, but this Massimo Vignelli Fungi table lamp by Studio DA does date from the 1950s.
According to the seller, this lamp dates from 1950, a wonderful mushroom-shaped lamp that would work in any interior from the 1950s to the 1970s.
It stands around 24cm high and is described as being in 'mint' condition. It obviously works, as the photo shows the lamp 'in action'. It also comes with a low price on eBay too – right now at just one pence.
