I know we've featured a few Dansettes in the past, but I couldn't resist this one, as the 1960s Dansette Viva record player on offer here looks absolutely stunning.
Like a few on the auction site, this is a fully reconditioned record player (via Electroboogie), but comes with the added bonus of a great '60s look in that light blue and cream, with 'mottled' speaker panel, original Dansette on/off volume and tone control knobs plus chrome trim with black 'Dansette Viva' lettering.
As you would expect, it has a valve amplifier for an authentic, rich 1960s sound, as well as a 4-speed BSR deck autochanger )16, 33, 45 and 78), with the option to stack records for automatic play. The turntable, motor and all mechanisms have all been fully serviced, oiled and adjusted for correct operation, with any fault parts replaced and a new plug fitted.
Some wear to the original finish, but not too much, simply adding in a bit of character. Which means condition here is described as 'good'. Fancy it? Right now, the price is at 99 pence.
