The Barometer Work Lamp from Ikea has a classic 1930s look that will be a welcome addition to many rooms.
It is made from steel with a nickel-plated finish. It has an adjustable arm and head to direct the light, making it ideal for reading by. It is also available in red, but to my mind the nickel version makes the most of the 1930s influence. It costs £35.99, which seems a great price for a design that won’t date.
