A design unmistakably of its era – this Jorgen Gammelgaard for Carl Hansen Swing VIP Desk Lamp.
It dates back to 1983 (you probably guessed sometime in the '80s), but over the last 30 or so years, the design really hasn't lost any of its impact. That impact is created by a mix of a circular steel base, a slim brushed stainless steel arm and a multi-adjustable 'wet painted' aluminium shade.
The lamp is available in either black or white with a matching electrical cord, selling for £684.
