I know we featured one of these fairly recently, but this original 1950s plant stand has something up on the last one – plenty of colour.
According to the listing details, the main triangular table is made of plywood and finished with a light grey marbled formica top with a gold and black plastic rim. The table has three removable wooden feet placed at a slight angle, each with lacquered gold tips, along with a wooden stem held together by an inner metal rod, which in tune has three small platforms. Each of those is made of plywood with formica tops in yellow, red and green respectively, all finished with a gold and black rim.
The plant stand is said to be in 'very good condition', with a few age related scratches and marks and some watermarks underneath the platforms. The butterfly screw holding the metal rod (placed underneath the table) has one broken wing too. None of those 'interfere with the overall look' though and the stand is 'structurally sound'.
If you want it in your home, the price right now is £7.50.
