If you love a bit of late '60s, easily '70s art, the Electrical Banana: Masters of Psychedelic Art book by Dan Nadel and Norman Hathaway should be for you.
The book is described as the 'first definitive examination' of psychedelic artwork, featuring hundreds of unseen images and exclusive interviews and essays, not to mention several key players of the genre. That includes Beatles associate Marijke Kroger, Mati Klarwein (who painted the cover for Miles Davis' Bitches Brew), Heinz Edelmann, who designed the Yellow Submarine animated film, Tadanori Yokoo, whose prints and books, defined the '60s in Japan, British artist and designer Dudley Edwards and of course, Australian Martin Sharp, whose work for Cream and underground magazines made him both famous and infamous 40 or so years back.
Published by Damiani and covering 208 pages, it sells for £17.55.
