Bauhaus: Life as Art at the Barbican, London

Starting today and running until 12 August at the Barbican, is Bauhaus: Life as Art, an exhibition and accompanying series of events about the art school.


The exhibition in the largest Bauhaus exhibition in the UK for over 40 years and covers Bauhaus’s utopian founding vision and the diverse artistic product that made up its 14 year history. The exhibition includes painting, sculpture, design, architecture, film, photography, textiles, ceramics, theatre and installation with works from the big names in the movement including Josef and Anni Albers, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
