Some interesting lots on eBay now for fans of spage age design – these 1970s Luigi Colani-designed ceiling lights.
The lights have been attributed to Luigi Colani, looking like a variation of the UFO light we have featured in the past. The only real difference is the shape – these are more rounded than the oval UFOs.
But these lights have one big thing in their favour. According to the seller, the lights are from a 'liquidation of an old, exclusive light-shop here in Vienna'. Which is why they are in 'perfect, excellent, unused condition'. In short, mint and unused, with the surface 'still superglossy'.
The reason I'm talking about multiple lights is that there are a choice of colours on offer. The one above is an 'applegreen', with the same seller also offering mint condition variations on red, orange or yellow.
