The Ercol for John Lewis Uppsala Armchair combines two iconic brands in one as it is upholstered in Sanderson’s Ellipse fabric.
The chair is part of Ercol’s range for John Lewis and is the first venture into upholstery. The chair has a midcentury shape to it with tapered legs and curved arms. It is available with plain anthracite upholstery for £899, but where the design really comes to life is in this version with the Sanderson fabric in yellow and black. This version costs £999 – well worth the extra £100 to make such a statement.
