We featured one quirky plant stand last month, but this midcentury formica plant stand is even more bizarre.
A 1950s design almost certainly, this one dispenses with the usual straight up design, replacing it with a round bentwood frame sat on a low table, that frame also hosting three further formica-clad platforms, along with a separate platform swinging underneath.
It's a feature piece, that's for certain. It is described as being in 'very good condition' with 'minor age related wear'. The vases on the lower shot obviously not included.
A few bids, but the current £36 price still sounds cheap.
