A few reincarnations of the classic Polaroid camera have come and gone, mod recently the distinctive Z340. But the Polaroid Z2300 instant camera might finally be the winning combination of retro looks and modern functionality.
It's a modern camera with something of an '80s look about it. At least, on the front – the back packs a three-inch LCD screen. For your money, you get the functionality you would expect from a Polaroid, with a 10-megapixel camera taking the snaps, which are printed out using the built-in Zink Technology printer, those prints being sized at 2 x 3 inches. If you want to stay digital (or don't want to waste the paper or the time it takes to print out), you can also upload images to social media sites.
It's nice enough, although we prefer the full old school looks os the Polaroid 600, even if the film is particularly expensive.
As for the Polaroid Z2300, it's available in the US initially for $159.99, no UK pricing as yet.
