This might be one for our regular space age contributors (you know who you are). That's because we're not sure of the model name of this pair of 1970s iGuzzini table lamps.
They are labelled 'iGuzzini' on the rear, with the 'Made in Italy' also present. So you can be sure of the maker. As for the very distinctive lamps, you get two in the auction, both made of metal/ABS, with the blacktop joints allowing the lamps to rotate and adjust, focusing the light where you want it.
According to the seller, both lamps are in 'overall good condition' with 'very tiny age and use related marks'. Both switches are said to be in good condition and both lights have the original powercord.
If you want the pair, the price right now is £64.01.
i can confirm that this is a Guzzini “Praxis” light – produced from1977 – 1978 – designed for Guzzini by Bruno Gecchel and was also available in black, a larger version was also available.
