A modern and indeed affordable design, but this House by John Lewis Tina floor lamp takes its inspiration from a bygone era.
The first thing we thought of were the Isamu Noguchi lights from the 1950s, which certainly looks to have been an inspiration to this modern-day midcentury gem.
But to be fair, this isn't a copy of a classic, the Tina lamp has its own selling points, including the long paper shade and that lovely white frame with white globe feet, all of which stands around 100cm high.
Cheap too, as it is part of the House range, selling for £38.You'll need a halogen bulb too, which isn't included.
