We have featured some of the Lamponi creations in the past, notably his reworking of classic scooter parts into table lights, both Lambretta and Vespa. Now he has used another Italian classic for the Moka Lamps by Lamponi.
These lamps, as you have probably worked out, use a vintage coffee maker. A bulb is inserted in the bottom of the coffee maker and wings, made of polished brass, are attached.
The designs then differ, depending on whether you want a fixed of flexible stem, although both sit on an aluminium plinth. The lamps are handmade and indeed, made to order, selling for either 210 Euros or 260 Euros, depending on your choice. More details at the maker's website.
