Before he became world famous for his pop art, Andy Warhol was known for his illustration work. That work is collected in the Andy Warhol Drawings book, published by Chronicle Books.
This full-colour book covers the early drawings of fashion, animals, food and other work created by Andy Warhol between 1950 and 1960. The illustrations are still relatively unknown in the shadow of his more famous pop art pieces, but are equally worthy of your attention, especially if you love midcentury illustration.
