This Atomic Yellow Lamp from US store CB2 is another example of a budget version of the iconic Kaiser Idell table lamp.
The shape of the lamp, with its oversized shade, is very much in the style of the Idell classic, but the bright yellow gives it a more 1950s atomic look than the 1940s Bauhaus style of the original. Unlike many USA stores, CB2 offers international delivery and even helpfully gives prices in the relevant international currency – this lamp costs £84.42. However, what you will need to be aware of here is that the light has been made for American power supplies, so it will need to be used with an appropriate adapter.
