We have featured the table versions of this before, but it's not often you see the Gae Aulenti-designed Pileo floor lamp on eBay.
It's a space age classic, made by Artemide in 1972 and a sought-after piece for any collectors of the era or style. This one is a mix of white and cream ABS plastic on an enamelled metal base with rubber fittings, with the shade pivoting like a helmet to direct the light.
It stands at 140cm tall and is in 'very good original condition'. That's all the good bits. Now the not-so-good. The seller wants £1,240 for the light, although you can make an offer for it. If you want to see more, plenty more images on the listing.
