It’s all about the bellows with the Lomography Belair X 6-12 film camera. It’s also a seriously limited edition, so if you want one, get in quick.
Channelling a mid-20th century vibe, the Belair X 6-12 is a medium-format camera with automatic shutter settings, able to take 6×12 panoramic photos as well as 6×6 square format and 6×9 photos. On top of that, the camera has an exchangeable lens system for experimentation and flexibility, a high quality lens crafted by ‘an experienced optics team’, hot shoe flash attachment and a bulb setting for long exposures and multiple exposures.
Oh yes, it looks amazing too, which is always half the story with a Lomo. Three variations of the camera are available to pre-order now, the Slicker, the Jetsetter and the Globetrotter, which is the pick of the bunch and pictured here.
See all three models on the site now, with reduced pre-order prices starting at £139.30. If you want the Globetrotter, that’s limited to just 300 worldwide, so one to order sooner rather than later if it appeals.
When I saw this, I was kind of amazed at how sturdy and nice it looked. This is a new era for Lomography and I actually want one of these.
