We saw the Fifty Five a while back, but now G Plan Vintage has gone even further back into the decade for inspiration, producing the Fifty Three Armchair.
Once again, this is a collaboration between G Plan and Hemingway Design, producing a chair inspired by the early 1950s, although this is an all-new design.
The end product is a seat built to the high standards of a British institution, but with a sharp retro design (quite literally with those sharp angles) that should easily fit into a modern or retro-inspired home.
£799 is the price – and that doesn't include the cushion on the top picture.
