With illustrations provided by Aleksandra and Daniel Mizieliński, the book covers the history of design from 1859 up to 2009. Along the way it takes in classic designs by the likes of Charles Rennie Macintosh, Alvar Aalto, Arne Jacobsen, Charles and Ray Eames. Whilst the book is obviously aimed at children, the witty descriptions mean it could make a good gift for adults with an interest in design and a sense of humour.
