If you hunt around, you'll find a recent reissue of this. But trust us, you want an original version of the Harvey Guzzini Design Sorella table lamp.
Why? Well, the 1972 version is the original iconic design and the one featured in the likes of James Bond's Moonraker and the Space 1999 series, not to mention countless other 'space' TV shows and movies. It was the future.
The original ones are incredibly hard to find and command high prices. The reissue, which has finally come back after many years of being promised, is a slightly different design, both in terms of finish and shade. If you want something like this, you want the original.
This one is said to be in 'good overall condition', with the only issues to note being 'some yellowing due to age' and 'some warping at the top of the lamp near the bulb'. You can see that in all the shots on the listing. If it's fine by you, the price right now is £62.36, which is something of a steal, if we're being honest.

Huge thanks to Andrew for the spot and the tip off.
OH the curse of the hot bulb strikes again, as for the reissue i still havent seen any offered for sale in the uk (shame they changed the shape – but i never expected a identical re issue). incidentally the last Sorella on ebay went for £850 and that was over 2 years ago now – there is a video of on on you tube now btw.
