I make no apology for featuring this design again, as it's one of my all-time favourites. If it appeals to you too, this 1970s Patrice Dupont-designed UFO portable record player is available on eBay.
This is one of the better versions of the space age icon up for sale, working on batteries or mains and sold with the original box. Needless to say it works, playing your records at 33, 45 or 78 via its new stylus and the built-in speaker.
Condition is described as 'very good', with slight scratches from age, nothing more. The inside and battery compartment have worn equally well too. The only downside is the price – this is up on a 'Buy It Now' for £349 or you can make a lesser offer. Might prove a good investment though, as good examples of this are getting rarer and pricier by the year.
