Something a little different for our eBay spot today – the Action Man 40th anniversary dolls and accessories.
If you didn't know, back in 2006, Hasbro reissued the original 1960s and 1970s Action Man dolls and gear in limited edition ranges, the dolls exact replicas of the originals, authentic packaging and the clothes very much of the era. So the military gear obviously, but also 1970s football kits, athletes, cricketer and so on.
They are really cool period pieces and quirky items in themselves – 'big' kids can have great fun dressing up their dolls in vintage anoraks or sports gear! You can also trawl eBay to find equally quirky vintage clothing too (there's a Fred Perry polo shirt out there somewhere).
Anyway, a lot of these reissues are on eBay, priced modestly if you shop around too. The two examples here are the sailor, right now at £10.99, with the much rarer Manchester United Action Man below, which is at £35 (but with no bids as yet). Follow the link to browse all the current auctions.
