A lovely example of a classic, the Dansette Major record player.
Said to date back to the 1950s, the player has been restored, but retains the original grey and sky blue finish, with one of two wear marks, as you might expect from half a century of usage.
The front of the sold wood unit offers volume and tone controls, along with the large speaker, while inside you will find a BSR UA8 automatic record changer, which can handle up to eight discs at a time. According to the seller, the valve amplifier was electrically restored some years ago and works really well, while the mains flex has been replaced and a new 'old stock' cartridge and stylus have been added.
No reserve on this and right now, the price is at £11.59.
