More twentieth-century designs being dug out and given a new lease of life in the twenty-first century: in this case it's Warner Textile Archive's new collection of Wendy Bray wallpaper.
Wendy Bray, a furnishing and dress pattern designer, graduated in 1951 and her designs are full of the optimism of that period. Warner Textile Archive have reissued nine of her designs as wallpaper (you may remember their previous collection of wallpaper based on textiles that we featured earlier in the year).
Pictured is Provence, a design that looks to the exoticism of Europe. Other designs are based around such happy themes as swing boats, walks in the park and even a cheering walk in the rain.
The papers cost £80 a roll.
