You can make a cheaper offer, but the price of this 1950s Robin Day-designed Pye 444 Cruiser Radio is on the high side. But we're flagging it up as it's the kind of thing you might spot out and about for a lower price.
That's because this radio might just pass as any old vintage radio on a stall or in a junk/vintage shop. However, this radio was designed by Robin Day for Pye back in 1958 and is rarely seen. It's made of anodised aluminium, leather and plastic and is apparently in 'excellent vintage condition', with light wear and signs of use. See the item description for the full breakdown.
It would look great in a 1950s-inspired home and as an investment, would be pretty good too. But you'll need to pay big to secure this one. The asking price is £650 – but as we said, you can make a lower offer if you really fancy it.
