Teasmades were hugely popular in the 1960s and 1970s, but fell out of favour and production. The Swan company brought them back into production a few years ago and now own the trademark teasmade. This model combines a retro shape with modern features such as a backlit LCD clock. You can also make coffee in this machine, which might upset the purists, but may make the machine more useful.
