Going under the name of The Alphas, advertising creatives Stuart Jackson and Gareth Hopkins have created a series of prints, Alpha Males.
The prints combine two of my favourite things in prints – pop culture references and typography. Each of the designs takes a letter of the alphabet and a well-known man, be it a real person or a fictional character whose name begins with that letter, and cunningly combines the two. Pictured above is the letter Q, for music producer Quincy Jones. Other males given the Alphas' treatment include Mad Men's Don Draper, James Bond, Che Guevara and Mick Jagger. There isn't a whole alphabet but there is a good choice. An art print costs around £45 for a 30cm by 40cm although other sizes are available too.
