I wasn't sure whether to drop this here or on our Junior Hipster site. But as it is an eBay find (and we don't have a section on JH for those as yet), I think I'll flag up this 1950s children's Lloyd Loom saucer chair right here.
It's a lovely thing, something that would look amazing in a retro-style kids room, once it has been tidied up a bit. According to the seller, it has black steel legs, a monochrome plastic weave and a wooden carcass, all of which looks pretty good on the photos.
But in terms of condition, it is described as being in 'very nice condition for its age', with 'some light rusting' to the steel, which is pretty much down to age. A bit of work and it could look like new I'd guess, but check out the photos to make your own mind up.
If you fancy it, this chair is at £30.
