I've just checked and a new reissue of one of these seems to be retailing for £347. With that in mind, this original 1970s Lumina Daphine adjustable desk lamp by Tommaso Cimini looks a bargain.
A misspelling on the listing probably isn't helping the case of this 1972 design, but we're not complaining if it is helping to keep the price low. The white one for sale here (it is just one, despite some shots of multiple lights) comes out of the Panton-furnished Spiegel office in Hamburg, able to direct light in numerous ways, thanks to the swivel action and three joints. Perfect for a desk.
It is a working light and condition is what you would expect from the age, with some 'patina' to the light. Lots of pictures on the listing if you want to examine it close up, with the price at £40. Oh yes, if you win and want to buy more than one, you can do.
