Many of the armchairs and sofas we've seen in the last couple of years have had a 1950s aesthetic, but the Foxi Armchair by Aria Selection claims to have been inspired by the 1970s.
The chair has a simple, but really rather clever design. The front legs are made from a continuous piece of wood that, at each side, becomes the armrest. It is available in a range of upholstery so you can match it to your decor easily. Shown here is a turquoise polyester fabric which would cost £416.
