Over the years, we've seen numerous imaginative interpretations of GPO telephones – a new twist on it comes courtesy of Next with their Classic Veneer Telephone.
The phone looks to be very much in the style of the GPO phones from the 1970s, but as we've come expect from these telephones, it has push buttons instead of the rotary dial. Its unique selling point though is its veneer finish – a wood that looks like beech or birch and adds to the overall 1970s vibe.
