We don't know the name of the maker, but we think this 1970s space age mushroom lamp is a quality item for very little money.
We're basing that on the statements made by the seller, who says it was a present some years back from a friend, who in turn bought it at auction. So it has a bit of age to it – we would guess the 1970s based on the look.
As for the lamp itself, it is marked as being made in Italy, has two light sources within that plastic shade and a 'very heavy enamelled metal' stem. It is down as being in excellent working order, but doesn't have an exact size. The seller simply says 'huge'.
The price certainly isn't huge though. Aat £19 right now, it looks a steal.
