At first glance, I thought this was a Merrow Associates design, but it isn't actually British. It is, in fact, a 1960s Danish rosewood desk.
But the style similarities are various and the quality equally high. Indeed, with Merrow Associates desks being so hard to come by, it's not a bad alternative if you are after that look. Talking of look, this design features 'highly figured' rosewood with strong grains throughout, complemented by the chromed steel sled base legs and finished with three drawer units, the larger of which is lockable.
Described as being in 'superb vintage condition' throughout, it's obviously not cheap, priced at £1,695. But you can put an offer in, which isn't likely to be a bad move if you are on the hunt for a super cool '60s desk for your home.

Hello there,
I have a desk bought from the original owner who also had a sideboard which I will always regret not buying. I have downsized and don’t need the desk but it is absolutely beautiful and would be a real find for anyone searching for such a desk. Not sure if it is Gordon Russell or someone else but 100% authentic
