Not a million miles from the kind of thing Merrow Associates produced around the same time is this 1960s C 684 sofa by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort, which has now been reissued.
It's all about the simplicity. A 1968 design that still looks contemporary today, it has a padded backrest, a frame made of foam-covered pressed beech and a chrome base. Upholstery is in a choice of fabrics and leathers from the maker's collection.
Pricing varies depending on that finish, but you'll be looking at something from £2,244.
