We're actually auctioning some vintage record players in need of repair ourselves, should you fancy a project. But if you don't, someone else is selling this fully reconditioned 1960s Dansette Conquest record player, which is a lovely thing.
In fact, the same seller is offering two similar reconditioned players, both of which are worth a look, but we've opted to feature the Conquest in orange and white, with a BSR auto-change deck, knitted cloth speaker cover, three brass control knobs, brackets to attach the legs (if you can find a set) and an internal valve amplifier for that rich 1960s sound.
Everything has been reconditioned or renovated, which means the player is as good as you'll find anywhere. But the hard bit will be winning the auction. Right now it's at 99 pence, but is unlikely to stay at that level.
