We featured a reissue of this a few years back and if you want one, you'll be looking at something near the £3,000 mark. So when we see a Geoffrey Harcourt space age Cleopatra chaise longue for Artifort for £399 on a 'buy it now', we're interested.
The chaise or sofa was designed by Harcourt in 1970 and still looks ahead of the game 40+ years on. Those sweeping curves will still grab the attention of any visitor today.
This one, as you might have guessed, isn't in perfect condition. The colour might be a factor too. it is over 10 years old and was featured in magazines back in the day, but now has a split in the seam (pictured on the site and said to be repairable) and some stains that will need a professional cleaning job to sort.
But at £399, this still looks great value if you have the space – and like that bold pink colour.
