We have bemoaned the lack of interesting bed designs in the past. For good reason too – most out there are pretty dull. But this midcentury-style Fonteyn bed at Made certainly bucks the trend.
The kind of thing that would work perfectly in a retro or mid-20th century room, this Steuart Padwick design has some lovely curves at the head and foot, as well as angled oak legs and contrasting colours for the wood – a mix of oak and walnut veneer.
The bed, sold without the mattress, is available in double or king sizes, selling for £599 or £649 respectively.
