It's hard to consider a thousand euro bag punk in any way. But it's hard to resist the charms of Olympia Le-Tan's Punk 7 Inch bags.
Continuing the musical theme started of her excello clutch bag we featured recently, this is a limited edition collection dedicated to punk and post-punk records and their distinctive 7 inch sleeves. As with the bag pictured, based on the artwork for Devo's 1979 Duty Now For The Future, the covers are lovingly recreated on each bag in embroidered canvas and lambskin. And the bag has beautiful finishing details too – with a Liberty print lining and a lambskin handle.
There's a large range of artists to pick from, including Talking Heads, Buzzcocks, Ian Dury, The Modern Lovers and Elvis Costello, with just sixteen available of each design.
But, yes, they will set you back a cool 1000 euros each.
