Whether you are a serious buyer, or simply want to swoon over some exquisite clothes, WilliamVintage's deluxe collection of vintage fashions are now available from a temporary outlet in London's Selfridges.
It's not the first time WilliamVintage has popped elsewhere – we featured their link-up with Browns a couple of years ago. But given their Marylebone store is usually appointment only it does make the clothes slightly more accessible – if no more affordable.
You'll find the collection next to Chanel and Lanvin within the store for the next four weeks. The company it is keeping gives a good indication of the pedigree of the clothes for sale. They span over 100 years in date, and include such magic names of fashion as Madame Gres, Dior and Oscar de la Renta. Balenciaga is represented by a suit from his autumn/winter 1954 collection, while there's a Lanvin haute couture cocktail dress from 1955.
No indication of pricing on the website but as one-off couture pieces you can imagine they'll cost a very pretty penny indeed.
