The car was made from the mid-1970s through to the mid-'80s. But we think this Lancia Montecarlo sports car is from the latter decade.
It's an eye-catching car, that's for sure and one with pedigree. It underwent an extensive restoration which included floors, sills etc and returned to the road 18 months ago, when it was featured in Practical Performance Car magazine. Since then it has had moderate use and is still in 'very good' condition, according to the seller.
It also 'looks good from 6ft' as the photos suggest, but might need a paint job in the long term. But by and large, it sounds like a car you can step into for a jaunt on those country roads in this lovely weather.
£4,000 is the current asking price (no bids) and there are more details and many more photos on the listing.
Wouldn’t an “S” reg (suffix) suggest the car was registered in 1977?
My first car was a “Y” reg and that was a ’83, and they didn’t use “U” suffix.
