You can now get some of Charley Harper‘s wonderful mid-century illustrations for your home too, thanks to a range by Fishs Eddy. This display-worthy Flamboyant Feathers ceramic platter is one of the pieces on offer.
Featuring a bird design which is instantly recognisable as Harper’s work, the platter decoration is based on one of his 1950s illustrations. It’s been reworked for its new purpose by Todd Oldham (who, as you might remember, compiled the An Illustrated Life book). The result is a striking look – a far cry from the educational books which first featured Harper’s illustrations.
The range also includes glasses, mugs, dinner plates and ceramic trays.
