To me the Whistler Teapot by e-side looks like a piece of classic Scandinavian design, but it is in fact Portugese in origin.
Not a country known for its design, the lovely Whistler teapot is very much a product of Portugal. Partly made from cork, it takes its name from the the Whistler tree, one of the oldest and largest cork trees in the Alentejo region. And the shape of the ceramic part of the teapot is inspired by traditional designs also from that region. It is available in a choice of colours; white, dark grey or the yellow-green shown here.
The teapot costs £36.50 via Not on the High Street.
