Loaf was formerly known as The Sleep Room and, while they still do a very nice line in beds and bedroom accessories, they've got some other great bits of furniture you may have missed, such as this Berlin armchair.
With refreshing honesty, they describe this design as a 'blatant rip-off' of a vintage chair they saw in a East Berlin hotel! That accounts for the fantastic retro shape then. They've tweaked the design to made it a little bit more luxurious, such as adding the solid oak legs. And, as you might expect from a company whose background is in a satisfying night's sleep, comfort is key – the chair is made using feather-filled back cushions.
The chair is avaliable in an amazing 62 different upholstery options and will be made by the company's Long Eaton craftsmen within five to seven weeks.
