The first collaborative collection in spring had some decent pieces, but I think the Celia Birtwell Autumn/Winter Uniqlo collection is better.
Where this collection has really raised its game is in offering a number pieces in 100% silk – a level of luxury rarely found in these high street collaborations. There is a long-sleeved silk dress, available in a choice of four Celia Birtwell patterns (£69.90); a choice of two long-sleeved silk blouses (£39.90) and four silk stoles (£19.90). If you want something more everyday, the collection does still include t-shirts too.
