With these Alphabet Factory blocks, House Industries expand their range of cool stuff for kids that most adults would also like to have a play with.
It's from the same US-based company who brought us the Eames House blocks, and this design combines the traditional idea of alphabet blocks with building the shape of a factory. The 31 pieces are printed with a mixture of font and pattern. House Industries are also well-known as a type foundry, and their distinctive retro-feeling fonts are used to great effect on these blocks. There's also a few chimney-shaped blocks to create the factory effect.
The blocks are printed with non-toxic inks so they are safe for kids to use, though we wouldn't blame you if you decide to keep a pristine set all to yourself.
A set is available for $70.
